The Gentle Rebel

Silke has the rare ability to find emotion in the unnoticed. I met her through my close friend Andrew and together we traveled to NRW to work with her distinctive visual style. She transforms ordinary, almost unnoticed locations into spaces filled with narrative and quiet melancholy. The images speak with such clarity that the entire series remains one of my personal favorites to this day.
