Monochrome Figure

Planned entirely in black and white, this shoot continued the Where to Go, Mr.? series later that evening. After Dimitri’s battery died and he ran home to replace it, the sun had already set by the time he returned. Shot in only 20 minutes, the series uses the last traces of daylight to create a natural atmosphere. With almost no freedom in terms of lighting, the images rely less on depth and more on unconventional body language, facial expression and moments captured mid-movement rather than in static poses.
